I had such a great experience with C.J. Auto! As a young woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I sometimes feel nervous taking my car in for repairs. But the team here made me feel completely comfortable and listened to all my concerns. They took the time to explain what was going on in a way I could understand and made sure my car was safe to drive before I left. I really appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and care. I was referred by a friend after having a very shady experience with a mechanic on the Island. Riley dealt with me very professionally, put me at ease and saved me a $5000 bill! (which was quoted work that was unnecessary from other mechanic) I'm traveling for work and it's a bit frustrating and stressful to deal with mechanical issues when away from your trusted people....CJ Auto is a trustworthy, hometown kind of feel. No upsells, just let's deal with what needs to be done, simple and in a quick efficient way. Would go back and would send anyone there that needs a good mechanic! Thank you for the peace of mind - I can now travel home to Alberta over the mountains without any doubts.

Long time patron (>20 years); always treated extremely well. I’ve had several vehicles in this time and they’ve all been serviced at CJ. Moe may be most deservedly slowing down but the young group of mechanics and Riley/John in the front, are top notch. You can’t ask for a better, local, non-hedge fund owned behemoth, local proprietor shop, to have your back and give you peace of mind.

C.J. Auto is THE PLACE to take your car either foreign or domestic, new or old. Moe, Riley, all the mechanics and staff are experts in their field and do great work at an honest and fair price. All work is guaranteed and they back it up. If looking for an auto repair facility this is THE PLACE.

Got an alignment done on my BMW E70, the job required technical experience with my particular setup. Moe from CJ got it spot on and even years later all is well! This past week I had my car in the shop, and CJ Auto gave me a clean, new courtesy car (free of extra charge!!) to drive while my car was getting worked on. SO thrilled with their exceptional service. Plus, I got my car back today, and the starter issue has been fixed very well. [UPDATE] After my initial experience, the shop reached out and invited me to bring my car back. They did a more thorough diagnosis and explained everything clearly. I really appreciate the follow-up—it shows they care about customer satisfaction. Updating my review to reflect the improved experience.[ORIGINAL] Very friendly staff but service quality is questionable. I took my car in for a check engine light diagnosis. They determined that my engine was burning oil, which may be the cause of the engine light. A week later, the light came back on, so I took my car back to the shop. They found it was a similar code/issue. They noted that another test needed to be done to determine the exact cause, but it would come at an additional cost. I just feel like that they should have done a more thorough check the first time.

I Went to see Moe to have my Toyota Highlander serviced and fix a faulty part, he was able to service the differential and installed the upgraded parts in a professional manner. Good People work here!My elderly friend had some brake and suspension work done on time and on estimate. They have very capabe friendly staff and everything is plainly explained. Shortly after that an accident occured and there was superficial damage and some pulling to the left. Icbc isn't fast on settling these things but CJ straightened the pull and repaired a tire for no charge. That created a lot of goodwill and I'll be taking my car exclusively there from now on. Thanks CJ !

I contacted CJ Auto about doing a Provincial Inspection on my 66 Malibu. I spoke with Moe and set up an appointment for it. I felt completely at ease and left my car there. I was contacted when they had completed the inspection and it was ready to go. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.I highly recommend Moe and the staff at CJ. One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! they diagnosted my car when the dealership wanted to charge me twice as much. They identified it was problem was under warranty and arranged with the dealer to get it fixed just in time with 3 days left on my warranty. This place is so awesome!I brought in my car to have inspected because of a few concerns, my car is old and not worth much. They were so honest and trustworthy and not pushy at all with extra expenses and such. They explained all that was wrong and even told me they didn’t advise putting that much money into my old car!The receptionist was the sweetest.Will definitely come back if i need any car repairs in the future!

I was in a bind as my water pump went out and when I called, while they were fully booked up, they took my car and worked it into their schedule. When they couldn't have it ready by the end of the day (it's a very involved job), and I needed a car that evening, they were able to get me into a courtesy car that had just come back. They honestly went above and beyond for me, and I would highly recommend them - it's hard to find people who actually care these days.

I am very pleased with my repair at CJ automotive. My son goes there and he has been happy so I thought I would try it. The service was very good. They were prompt and thorough. They had my car fixed in 10 minutes and didn’t even charge me as it was something that had come loose and they just tightened it. The staff are knowledgeable, polite and trustworthy. I’ll be coming here for future repairs.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting CJ Auto Repair, and I must say, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience!Riley at the front desk was extremely helpful and informative, taking the time to listen to my car’s issues without jumping to any conclusions or making me feel like my concerns were absurd.The team’s willingness to truly understand the problem before diving into repairs made a typically daunting trip to the mechanic much more palatable.The pricing was fair and they even recommended to defer some of the services I had “thought” I needed to help me save some expense. How thoughtful!They also offer free cab/shuttle service to the local area and a complementary loaner car if you book far enough in advance.Highly recommend CJ Auto Repair for their excellent customer service and expertise!!

For the past thirty plus years Moe and his team of expert technicians have been repairing my minivans. I highly recommend them. They keep up to date with the latest diagnostic tools and repairs are done efficiently at a reasonable price. Some years ago one of our old minivans was starting to leak and burn oil. Moe’s exact words were: “You will have to learn to live with it.” In other words his advice was the repairs would cost more than the worth of the vehicle. We have been customers of CJ auto for close to 10 years. Moe has always been honest with recommendations and repairs in terms of what is necessary to repair and what can wait. They are flexible with getting our vehicle in for repairs. I am able to drop by to ask Moe questions and take a quick look as to what is wrong. We would highly recommend this shop. They are not only super knowledgeable about their business but they are extremely trustworthy - to the point that they will sometimes talk me out of certain repairs if they think it’s not in my best interest!I have 100% confidence in their ability and their good judgment. I have been with Moe for 20+ years and I won’t go anywhere else!I told him when he retires I am going to sell off what’s left of my cars and buy a horse!I don’t want anyone else working on my vehicles! I recommend them to everyone who asks.This doesn’t mean fixing your car is cheap-it’s an expensive business-period. What it does mean is you will get what you pay for and more - always with a smile! A big thankyou to Moe and his amazing team at CJ Auto repairs. My friends had highly recommended CJ Auto a few years ago. Last week, when we were in urgent need of a new starter motor, we called and were given a friendly and efficient estimate over the phone. (We were offered some options to determine the scope of servicing we would like and there was no attempt at "upsell" etc.) We were able to drop the vehicle off the very next morning, and it was serviced within a few hours.Thanks Again😊

First appointment made recently and on arrival promptly attended to. Moe took me with him for a test drive to investigate. I was looking for an honest mechanic that I could trust to fix my van. Moe was referred to me by a friend who has been well taken care of by them for over 20 years, so I was willing to come all the way from Vancouver to get the work done. That was the best decision I could have ever made. I received a text notification followed by a phone call at EVERY step of the process - when my van was first being looked at, then after their diagnosis, and then when it was fixed and ready for pick up - so I could rest assured knowing exactly what was going on at all times. They were totally up front with everything from my first phone call to them to when I picked up my keys. It was an exceptional service experience, and I will definitely keep going all the way out there for all my automotive needs.
